Week 7

Took a drive on Monday with Jade just to get her hours up and of course we went past the block. Hoping she will have her P's before we move so she can get around. Anyway the gutters are all installed and the roofing has been delivered.

You must almost be bored with the building stuff so I'm going to go off topic for a moment (just a small one to check if you are reading). Darren and I went whale watching this morning, Jumped on a train and headed into town early, had to meet the boat at 10am. Of course we arrived in a rush right on 10 and I saw a yellow boat (sure it was one I saw when booking) sailing away. Resolute that we had missed the boat and just a little shirty that it was exactly 10 and they were gone when I received a call from the captain to see where we were. Just a little shocked because I could not see anything on the water except a giant P&O cruiser he claimed to be at the dock - I also claimed to be at the dock but could not find him. Upon closer inspection there was an 11 meter very open boat - an adventure cruiser (looked like a jet boat to me), with no toilet I might add, way at the end of the dock and of course they were waving madly so we could see them. So anyway with great trepidation, I jumped on the boat, donned their waterproof jacked and straddled the seat and held on for dear life as we headed first to manly and then out to see. Darren made the first spotting just 30 minutes in to our 2 hour tour and we headed off to watch the Whales. While we watched from a distance we suddenly had some visitors and then some more came to join the party. We had at least 6 huge hump back whales circling the boat within another 20 minutes even our driver was excited. Not sure if the video will load or even how good it is but here goes. Well that didn't work. Check out my google plus page for video and pictures, un edited I am sorry but worth a look. If you want a great day on the water check out Manly Ocean Adventures. Go on a thursday as there are not many other boats on the water, in fact we were the only ones today. http://www.manlyoceanadventures.com.au/

So at the end of week 7 we have Brick walls and a roof. All completed and looking exactly how we expected. The only thing thing that will stress me now for the outside might be the render colour. Easily painted so no drama - street appeal here we come.
