5.8.2013 So the frame is being shored up and all the roof trusses have been put together and leaned against the fences, no work that could be seen on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning a big ass crane was onsite lifting the roof trusses into place. Not sure how I thought they would get up there, I am almost ashamed to say they must magically be held up by the builders. Windows have also been delivered and are laying around waiting to be installed.
With the roof trusses up it actually looks like a house now, really happy so far with the changes we made to windows and the en suite, it looks like we will have a reasonable view of the lake from the living area's and our bedroom. Will have to get some of the scrub cleared out.
Hopefully by the end of next week we'll have the roof on and they can start the brickwork or maybe they will start the brickwork and then we can put the roof up...who knows.
8.8.2013 Did the drive by at 5pm today and they were still working hard on the frame, almost all the windows are in but as usual I have left my phone at home so no photo's today. Will get some over the weekend and add to the post. The framer advised the frame should be completed tomorrow I think he thought I was a stalker driving up and down the street. We are going to have to take a walk out the back and see what the view is from the walkway. There has been a car parked over our driveway for over a week now
