I am participating in The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers™ benefiting The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse is a 2-day, 60-kilometre walk through the neighbourhoods of Sydney. It’s going to be a challenge, I have never done anything like this before and figure at 46 and unfit this may be my last chance to get it together.
Cancer has touched us all in some way. For me, most recently it has touched me with my mum who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and adrenal cancer in 2013. Despite all the treatment she has received and is still receiving, I have never once heard her complain even when she is clearly unwell and having a bad day. She is a real inspiration to me, our family and our friends. It's largely due to the strength I have seen in her that I have decided to participate in this event.
The walk itself is not until 8-9 November 2014. However, I will be raising funds and training hard until then so I can make a huge impact in the effort to end all women's cancers - but I need your help. Please take the time to visit the link below and if you are able to sponsor my walk I would appreciate your help.

If you are unable to sponsor at this time please visit endcancer.org.au and read about the walk, perhaps you might like to participate.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I will make the time over the next couple of weeks to get organised and update my photo's for those that are interested.
